The key to the healing process is identifying and then working to change the negative patterns and imprints that have kept the dysfunctional cycle in motion, passing down to the generations, robbing them of their purpose and their greatness.

We fill our lives with so many distractions that we stop seeing the hurt underneath. It’s like an open wound that never gets treated. We cover it up with food, with drinking, with shopping, with control. But like a deep stain on a carpet, it keeps coming back. And if we don’t deal with it, our children will carry it too.
Sounds hopeless? It’s not! It takes work on our part to break the cycle, but the reward outweighs the battle. Remember, this didn’t happen overnight. It happened over time, so be patient with yourself and with the process.

Patricia’s Story

Patricia has walked this road herself. As a young child growing up in Guyana, she lived through painful adversity and family dysfunction. She made up her mind that she would not pass that hurt down to her own family. That victory is what drives her today. She can relate to what you are going through, and she will be there to coach you and celebrate with you as you break free.
